Mexico City / Queretaro / San Miguel de Allende

Departure for the circuit of colonial cities: first stop is Queretaro, an ancient colonial pearl famous for its impressive aqueduct, its Cathedral and its "callejones", intersecting streets that almost represent a labyrinth for its own inhabitants. The itinerary continues to San Miguel de Allende, a splendid "buen retiro" for artists and poets from all over the world. Arrival and accommodation at Mision Hotel.

In the evening, do not miss the typical “callejonadas”, paths of student musical groups that, between songs and dances, retrace the history and legends of the city; an ancient tradition, following one of the serenades you can discover some of the most fascinating corners of the city.

Day 5:
Guanajuato
Morning dedicated to the free visit of the splendid colonial town that unfolds on a series of hills giving rise to a formidable glance. Do not miss the Callejon del Beso, the Teatro Municipal Juarez, in the main square, the State University and the Church of the Society of Jesus: authentic jewels of Mexican Baroque architecture. Free afternoon, with the possibility of making an optional excursion to León, an important center of leather processing, for an afternoon of shopping for fine crafts.

First stop the town of Tzintzuntzan, "the city of hummingbirds" Purépecha, to visit the ancient religious buildings and some pre-Columbian remains of La Yácatas. Continue to Patzcuaro, an ancient village of the Taraschi Indians, now a true colonial Pueblo Mágico suspended in time. Free visit of the town, of the historic colonial buildings all white in color, its cobbled streets, and its precious markets of typical crafts, unique in Mexico: the Mercado de Artesanias in the square dedicated to Don Vasco de Quiroga and the Casa de los Once Patios . Departure for Morelia, the capital of the state of Michoacàn and a refined city that keeps intact its deep Spanish roots. Accommodation at the Mision Catedral hotel.
